We have put together two menus, one focused on meat and one vegetarian option.

Here at The Rising Sun we are passionate about local food. We serve the very best in fresh seasonal produce, cooked just how you like it. Our menus have something for everyone, from fish lovers to vegetarians, with an ever-changing selection of specials to reflect the best of the coast and countryside. Perfectly complemented with a great wine list and well-kept real ales and ciders.
With a location so close to the sea, we are in an excellent position to make the most of the local catch. Depending on the season, diners can expect anything from prime lobster to fantastically fresh sea bass and local mussels. Quality is everything for us and the only frozen food you will find in our kitchen is the ice cream!
As standard bearers for excellent local food, we have also been an integral part of many food events in North Devon. Keep an eye on our Facebook and Instagram pages for mouthwatering dishes and foodie gatherings in the area!
Non-residents are very welcome to eat at The Rising Sun, but we do recommend booking a table during busy times.
